Finally released, Irregulare Palpitationen, an album length CD of S/T remixes by S/T fan The Grand Erector.
The Grand Erector says: "This was my dream job - remixing one of the best groups in the world. The project began when I was listening to the track Irregulare Palpitationen and imagining the sound made even more expansive, so I asked the group if I could attempt a remix. Having agreed to that, they offered me several other tracks to work on."

May sees the release of a superb 4-CD box set by Martin Brauner, aka Alan Smithee. The set consists of four separate projects - two albums of new songs, each in a different style, pop or kraut/psyche; an album of tributes to some of Martin's favourite groups, and a final CD of cover versions. Read more information about the release, or listen to extracts from each album.

S/T
S/T was founded in January 1993 by Martin Bauner and Joachim Gaertner. Between the late Seventies and the early Nineties both were involved with other bands/projects - but there's no need to talk about that any more.
Right from the start the artwork for covers were half of the S/T style: releases you can listen to that also include "art" work to have fun with as a fan or collector. The first release was the legendary If I Can Catch a Train single on the collectable ROMAN CABBAGE label (Early Kitchen Cynics, Paisley Shirts, Lord Magick, etc.). After our first trip to the USA, the band's own Save Our Sperms label was founded. to be continued...
Imagine Steve Albini, Cluster, Roky Erickson, Wire and Faust (or some similar concoction of your own) colliding in musical space and melting together in some arcane alien experiment in high-energy fusion. Imagine there's already a group who sound like that, playing stunning punk-psychedelia while at the same time wriitng some of the tightest, most eloquent songs you've probably never heard. Imagine too that they've been doing this for over fifteen years without the world batting much of an eyelid. Put the icing on the cake by imagining that along the way they'd released a raft of beautifully designed limited edition records that you still haven't heard.
S/T remain one of the underground's sweetest secrets. Maybe this site will help a few more people discover them. In the meantime ... welcome to the wonderful world of S/T. We hope you love it.
